I’ve been thinking a lot lately about the extreme amount of debate given to using the term “gaslighting.” It reminds me of all the debate around if the cages at detention camps deserve to be called cages at all. It seems like when the truth is politically inconvenient, people prefer to play semantics instead of talking about the real issues. When people discuss how “overused” terms like gaslighting are now, I’m thinking about how many other underreported issues they could have spent that time discussing/writing about.

And then, for the next several days, many of our foremost political reporters play hot potato with said turd." I love this! It so perfectly surmises the situation. He throws a stick in the weeds and everyone chases it. Thank you for your sane voice in the midst of these insane times!
The press secretary for the president is a fucking liar. She rapidly answers questions to give an appearance of knowledge, when in reality she is a perso that lies as much as trump
