PS

I just finished 1979 and 1989, a pair of books by Val McDermid about a journalist in the UK during those years. She is, in the words of a review "an aspiring investigative journalist, as she navigates the sexism and challenges of working in a male-dominated newsroom in 1979 Glasgow." They were good.
